Wednesday:
Todayyyyy was a fixture, so most of the people in our class were not there and we alsoo had 8CH join our class. this morning we had library and then a gap for about 20 mins which was the time we used to work on our speeches a little bit. we then did P.E. during pe we started off in the gym where we split the remaining people into two groups and kinda played a game of catch where the first team to get five passes wins, we then went outside and tried to play a game of frisbee but it started raining so we went into the IRC to play. the rest of the day kind of went past as a blur. we had maths except it wasn't maths because of the fixture so we just played a couple of maths riddles? the villa

The Villa

Shadows flickered at the windows, a low candlelight burned, hushed whispers are heard inside.

As night fell and stars rose two girls headed out into the night,
“Shhhhhhh” one girl whispered,.
“I’'m being as quiet as i can Helen” the other proteste.,
“dosen’t matter be silent as a mouse Emma” Helen replied “you know mice squeak so do i have to squeak as well” Emma retorted, a noise inside the abandoned villa silenced them “oh my gosh” Emma squealed, her voice high-pitched with fear “oh yeah forgot to tell you the ghosts like to party at night” Helen said sarcastically, with a hint of fear in her voice even though she was trying to lighten the mood.

The two crept near the door, Helen walked up to it but Emma stayed behind, “what are you doing” Emma whispered, “you can't just walk up to an abandoned villas front door, knock and expect to be welcomed in by a kind old lady!”
“Watch me” Helen declared, so she knocked on the door and heard the creak of floorboards “ahhhhhhh” Emma screamed and ran, “don't leave me here” Helen called “well i'm not staying!” just as Emma had uttered those words the door swung open, an old lady with curly grey hair poked her head out the door and rather surprised she said “what are you two doin up so late?”
“Erm well you see…” Emma started and then trailed off, “we were wondering if anybody lived here” Helen finished Emma’s sentence “well this is a surprise i avent ad anybody ere for a long time” she said with a strange accent, “well come inside then”
“Uhhhh okay” Emma replied rather shocked by what had happened then but followed Helen into the lady’s house. “wow” Helen breathed as they entered, the walls were painted with bright colours and the furniture was just as bright. “well this is a surprise” Emma stated “well i never” helen whispered.

the chance of a lifetime

The chance of a lifetime

Who in the world gets 30 acres of land to do whatever they want with? Me... I'm the lucky one who inherits a fortune. Oh I forgot to introduce myself.  I'm Helen and I’m 25 and I’ve got my dream job, an architect. as you might guess, I'm going to build an abundance  of new houses on this land, or should I?

Today is Monday, the first working day of the week.  pretty much a usual Monday for everyone else except for me. I’ve got piles of papers, loads of files, appointments for bank accounts, debts and basically, a whole lot of work that could take months to sort out, sitting on my desk glaring me in the face.

That day, I was going to visit the farm that my grandmother left in my name. As I travel, i look out onto gorgeous land around me. it’s autumn so all the trees are dropping golden leaves onto the ground, the rolling hills make this land seem surreal. My grandmother owned horses so there is a crowd of them grazing in the pasture. There are colours that stand out and there are colours that are dull, there are palominos, chestnuts, bays, liver chestnuts, dark browns, light browns and then there are the horses that look like they’ve been covered in snow, their colours are striking and anybody who knows something about horses would say, ‘no horse is truly white they are grey,’ but for theses horses we could make an exception. The herd of dairy cows that she owned added up to a gigantic number of 763 cows. At that moment i realised how beautiful nature really is it's imperfections help make it perfect. I thought to myself do i really want to ruin it?

the christmas truce

The christmas truce

Snow crunching underfoot,
Soldiers racing by,
The thud of thirty feet,
Playing side by side,

Swapping buttons,
Trading things,
Today we may be friends,

But tomorrow we’ll fight again.
